AGENT/EDITOR PITCH SESSIONS
2026 GUEST ANNOUNCEMENTS COMING SOON
Agent/editor pitch sessions are a great opportunity for adults and teens looking to get a deep-dive critique on their work.
WHAT TO EXPECT FROM YOUR PITCH SESSION(S)
-
Attendees are asked to submit a query letter and the first 10 pages of their manuscript to be reviewed by an agent or editor.
-
Each attendee will have 15 minutes to receive critique from the agent/editor and ask questions regarding their work and publishing.
HOW REGISTRATION WORKS
Step 1:
Attendees must purchase a StoryCon ticket (Adult, Educator, or Teen) and select the Pitch Session add-on option. (Act fast!)
Step 2:
-
Pitch Session selection will go live after the end of October. At that time, registered attendees will then be given the opportunity to choose their agent or editor of choice.
-
Selection priority will be determined by purchase date. Please note that there are limited spots, so you'll want to purchase your ticket as soon as possible.
-
Once you've chosen your agent or editor, instructions on how to send your query and your first 10 pages will be emailed to you.
(Please note that although the agents/editors should never be overly harsh, they will expect the attendees to want honest feedback. Plan to take into consideration if you are ready to receive a critique that might have a different point of view than yours.)
