AGENT/EDITOR PITCH SESSIONS
2026 Publisher and Agent Guests
Agent/editor pitch sessions are a great opportunity for adults and teens looking to get a deep-dive critique on their work.
WHAT TO EXPECT FROM YOUR PITCH SESSION(S)
-
Attendees are asked to submit a query letter and the first 10 pages of their manuscript to be reviewed by an agent or editor.
-
Each attendee will have 15 minutes to receive critique from the agent/editor and ask questions regarding their work and publishing.
HOW REGISTRATION WORKS
Step 1:
Attendees must purchase a StoryCon ticket (Adult, Educator, or Teen) and select the Pitch Session add-on option. (Act fast! There are only a few spots left.)
Step 2:
-
You will receive an email informing you when you can sign up for the day/time of your pitch session. At that time, registered attendees will be given the opportunity to choose their agent or editor on a first come, first serve basis.
-
Selection priority will be determined by purchase date. Please note that there are limited spots, so you'll want to purchase your ticket as soon as possible.
-
You will have the option to upload your query and pages at the time you sign up for your session, or you can submit it later. The submission deadline is January 15th.
-
Please be aware that your submission musb be in the following formats: PDF, .docx, or google doc link.
(Please note that although the agents/editors should never be overly harsh, they will expect the attendees to want honest feedback. Plan to take into consideration if you are ready to receive a critique that might have a different point of view than yours.)
