Truly profound worldbuilding must be woven into each detail, character, and plot point. Each minuscule deviation from the world we know adds a layer to the story. This butterfly effect will warp every page, character, and plot point. A character’s origin story can hinge on a cultural clash; the theme can be sharpened by a surreal continent; a setting can be warped by otherworldly science. Every sentence is informed by the world built in those that precede it.
