I'm attending the IVOH.org Restorative Narrative Conference and Felix Richter, an ad agency guy is presenting on how his agency created an ad for Under Armor that challenges stereotypes. It gave me chills.

Richter shows how effective advertising defying sterotypes can make successful ads.
Here's another ad, with Gisele Bundchen. Felix points out that showing the opposite is a way to reveal the truth.

Richter says "It always has to make sense for the brand."
When it comes to branded content clients know that when it comes to this kind of ad it does not hammer home a message about the product"
it takes courage for an advertising agency to propose and an advertiser to pay for ads like this.
