The real question is not whether to get out of the frame game, but whether to frame intelligently or unintelligently, authentically or cynically, honestly or dishonestly.

One would hope that both political parties would frame the issues intelligently, authentically and honestly. But it would be naive to believe that in doing so, they are not framing.
